Lighting and solar cells are complementary techniques – while solar cells „destroy“ light, lighting is creating light. Besides this fundamental difference, both devices are based on very similar device concepts, architectures, materials and device processing methods. Experience at i-MEET, gathered in the development of solar cell materials and production processes is currently transferred onto lighting .
