Many devices require the patterned deposition of the active / passive layers. In the case of solar cells, the patterning is as simple as to create down web lines. More sophisticated module concepts or other applications like photodetectors require highresolution and more complex patterns. i-MEET is actively researching and developing laser patterning processes of multilayer stacks for opto-electronic applications.
